"33% [of EAs] identify as gamers"
CCing my EA Anniversary Survey
Okay… I honestly wasn’t expecting more than 15 EAs to fill out the Anniversary Survey, and I was low-key regretting making it so long.
But y’all completely showed out. 🤯
As of last night, 169 EAs have completed the survey and I’m seriously blown away! Thank you sooo much to everyone who has taken the time to share your answers, insights, and stories. I’m pretty sure this is becoming one of the, if not the, most valuable things we’ve done together.
The goal is 200 responses before the survey closes on August 31st, so if you haven’t had a chance yet and want to be part of the results, you can take the survey here.
🎁 Everyone who fills it out will be entered to win 1 of 52 physical BCCing My EA comic booklets (one for each week of the year).
In case you’re new here, CCing my EA is a bite-sized newsletter dedicated to Executive Assistants like yourself.

Just curious, has anyone landed any of the roles that have been listed in the “5 new job listings” section this past year? If you have, please reply to this email!
3 posts you might’ve missed
Note: I’m including some posts originally intended for last week’s newsletter.
#1
“It’s not manipulation.
It’s stewardship.” 😤
#2
Since this is a longer thread, I’ll be breaking it up into a limited “Weekly EA Spotlight” sort of thing across the next few newsletters.
But if you’re impatient, you can click in now to read the full thing. 👀
#3
I commented on LinkedIn that this might be the EA post of the year, and I stand by it. 🔥
I’ve seen a lot of great posts about what it really takes to be an EA but this one’s probably the clearest yet.
The analogies (CFO ≠ Excel, lawyer ≠ arguing) cut right through the noise, and if you’ve ever had to justify your role to someone who doesn’t get it, this post is totally worth referencing.
1 Tech Tip
Free AI playbooks from OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic
We’ve shared plenty of AI tips over the past year, but this week’s resources come directly from the builders themselves.
OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic have all released internal playbooks on how they actually use and scale AI inside their orgs.
Prompting, agents, enterprise use cases with no fluff, just clear, practical guides.
For a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here.
Thank you for reading!
Some fun early stats we’ve already received from the 1st Anniversary Survey:
Please take 15 min to complete the CCing my EA Anniversary Survey if you get the chance!
I’ll see you next Thursday~
