I genuinely feel like the EA career is in for a renaissance this year. These kinds of conversations just weren’t happening as recent as 3 years ago, and now you can see them everywhere.

I’m predicting a flood of fresh talent into the EA profession by the end of this decade.

You heard it hear first! 👂

Saw this on Reddit and couldn’t resist the urge to share. 😭

#3

There’s a delicate balance between over-expressing and under-expressing yourself, but I think erring on the side of over-expressing is probably the better call. 😤

Why are you surprised though…? 🤨

Have you seen our 2026 Report yet?

Please engage with this LinkedIn post to help more EAs find it!

The report’s highlights are on the landing page, but the full report is 30 pages if you want the deeper cuts.

If you’ve got a quiet moment this weekend, give it a skim. My goal is for you to close it feeling a little more seen and a little more sure of your role in 2026. 💪

And if even just section makes your next 1:1 easier, it will have been worth it.

1 Tech Tip

How I use Instagram (without getting sucked in)

Social gets a bad rep for being addictive. Fair. But it’s still just a tool. Here’s how I use IG to keep up with people I love without losing 45 minutes to the scroll.

My rules:

  1. If it makes me feel something, I react

    1. Heart it, drop a short comment, let them know I’m happy they’re doing well

  2. I tap stories by face, not by FOMO

    1. If a friend’s bubble catches my eye, I watch it

  3. I close the app on the first ad

    1. The moment I see an ad, I’m out. If I scroll past it, I know I’m not “keeping up” anymore, I’m just feeding the slot machine

That’s literally it. Five minutes tops, I still feel connected, and I don’t need to detox from my phone afterward.

Extra tip: I make sure to turn off ALL Instagram notifications in their in-app settings except for DMs.

For a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here (updated once a month).

P.S. Reminder that next Wednesday (January 28th) from 4–6pm ET, I’m hosting drop-in AI office hours just for EAs.

If it goes well, I’ll be doing these more regularly and offer additional time slots to fit time zones in the UK and Australia.

If you’re interested in attending, please RSVP here: luma.com/y7jkz4lv

Thank you for reading!

I’ve unplugged since last Thursday until January 28th to spend time back home in Berkeley.

It’s actually my first time visiting home since moving to NYC, so I’ve been really enjoying slowing down, being with family, and recharging a bit.

If you messaged me while I’m away, I’ll see it all and catch up once I’m back on the 28th.

I’ll catch you next Thursday~
