I feel like the most valuable EAs are ones that their execs can trust to make decisions on their behalf. In other words, a literal business partner, which explains the shift in titles towards “executive business partner”. 💼

This’ll stop the cat from stepping on your keys and from blocking your webcam, but it won’t stop the meows. 😿

New in Vimcal EA: Schedule with voice

We just launched a new feature this week that lets you schedule events by voice!

I know it’s a lot of friction to click out of this email just to watch a video, but I swear it’s seriously cool.

I love it because I don’t have to be perfect with my choice of words and it’ll still schedule properly. For example, I can say:

“Schedule a meeting with me and Richard for next Thursday at 1pm. Never mind, I don’t want Thursday. Let’s make it Tuesday, and let’s start it at 3pm instead. Let’s run it for 45 minutes. I would like this to be recurring every 3 weeks. And as a matter of fact, let’s make that meeting only 30 minutes instead.“

This is the exact example I give in the video

And it’ll still create the correct event!

Check out the video here to see it in action (begins at 23 sec mark): Very cool scheduling feature.mp4

For a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here (doing my best to update once a month).

Thank you for reading!

We’re organizing a meetup in Washington DC in July!

Exact details are still being decided but if you’ll be in town on (tentative) July 16th, feel free to RSVP early here: luma.com/umgbxtsx

Once we finalize the exact details (just a few days!), I’ll share another reminder email.

Catch you next Thursday~
