3 posts you might’ve missed

#1

After Sydney wraps up her 3-part job hunting series, we’ll be hosting a new workshop series to train EAs on how they can best talk about their strengths in a way that doesn’t feel like bragging. 😤

Hoping can help your impact feel a little less invisible!

#2

What’s your current strategy for positioning yourself to be more visible at your company? 🔍

#3

I swore to myself this would be the year where I wouldn’t get caught off guard by the short month…

Will have to try again next year. 🥲

Sydney is the co-founder of N+1 Search, a recruiting firm that specializes in Executive Assistant roles. 💼

If you’re considering or in the process of making a change in your career, you might find her advice incredibly insightful and relevant!

1 Tech Tip

New Vimcal EA feature: Agenda Generator

For today’s tech tip, I wanted to share a new feature we literally just launched in Vimcal EA that might be useful if you're ever asked by your exec to create a daily or weekly agenda.

It’s called Agenda Generator, and it generates a copy-pasteable version of your exec's schedule straight from their calendar (instead of you having to manually type everything out).

You’ll find it under Quick Actions in Vimcal EA’s side panel.

If you want to check out what else a calendar built specifically for Executive Assistants has to offer (I mean, “EA” is literally in the name 😉), you can sign up for a free intro call at: vimcal.com/ea!

For a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here (doing my best to update once a month).

Thank you for reading!

Last week I asked y’all “How many EAs does it take to change a lightbulb?”

One... plus three approvals, a delivery that gets delayed twice, and a well-meaning exec who adds five people to the thread. 😭

Don’t forget to RSVP for the “How to Network with Recruiters” workshop next Wednesday!

To preserve the privacy of the EAs who volunteered their resumes for on-air feedback, only those who RSVP ahead of time will receive the recording afterwards.

Just in case, here’s the link one last time: luma.com/9frnznsh

I’ll catch you next Thursday~
