Best easy win for your first week in a new role: physical changes to the office!

Turning a place from “tolerable” to “pleasant” can serve as a constant reminder to your team about who they can rely on. 🫡

We’re hosting a meetup next Tuesday in Dublin! 🇮🇪

Don’t hesitate to share the event page with any of your admin friends out in Dublin, we’d love to meet them! :)

1 Tech Tip

Typing äccénts on Mac

I had to type a lot of accented Irish names this past week for our Dublin meetup invitations and used this trick over-and-over again.

On Mac, it’s super simple: press and hold any vowel and you’ll get a little accent menu.

For example:

  1. Press-and-hold e → a menu pops up with options like é, è, ê, etc.

  2. Then just hit the corresponding number (e.g., 2 for é) and it drops right in.

If you didn’t know this one, I’m genuinely curious: how were you typing accented letters before? 👀

For a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here (doing my best to update once a month).

Thank you for reading!

I just landed in London for the very first time!

Question if you’re based out here: since I only have the weekend to explore, what is your single must-visit recommendation?

Thanks in advance for your suggestion!

I’ll catch you next Thursday~
