In case you missed it yesterday, we launched our first CCing my EA Podcast episode yesterday with Kelly Kovacs! 🥳

We covered everything from Lady Gaga visiting the Twitter office and Snoop Dogg almost getting the leadership team arrested, to Kelly’s 3 top soft skills from her Twitter days: Hustle, Building Relationships, and the Ability to Anticipate Needs.

To everyone who already wrote in with their kind support along with incredibly helpful feedback, thank you so so much.

If you’re short on time, in true CCing my EA fashion, we’ve written up a bite-sized summary of the 25 min conversation (entirely by human, not AI).

Links to our Youtube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify are on that page as well.

Hope you enjoy!

1 Tech Tip

The Plus Sign Email Trick for EAs

This week's tech tip is inspired by a fellow CCing my EA reader, Stephanie Rohweder!

"I use this for conference RSVPs so I can manage all the event confirmations, location details, and timing updates in my inbox while keeping the registration under my exec's name."

Ever need to book multiple dinner reservations for different execs on the same night? Or RSVP to the same conference for multiple executives? You probably want all the booking confirmations in a single inbox, yours.

Oftentimes you can't use the same email address for multiple registrations, but most of us don't want to check numerous inboxes or have our executives bothered by unimportant emails. So what can we do?

Here’s the hack:

  • Add "+1" before the @ in your email

  • The system reads it as a new email

  • All confirmations still route to your original inbox

Examples:

Perfect for:

  • Multiple OpenTable reservations

  • Conference RSVPs for different execs

  • Free trial signups

  • Event registrations

By the way, shout-out to OpenTable for this cool feature. 😉

If you ever need a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here.

Thank you for reading!
