So much of the EA experience really is dictated by the exec. 🤔

A new CCing my EA podcast episode just released this week! 🎙️
In case you missed it, here’s the cheat code we covered in the episode that you can steal.
From Kelly Muñoz: Bring solutions, not just problems
Kelly builds trust with executives by showing up, being credible, and staying ahead.
When she identifies a problem, she doesn’t simply hand it to her executive and wait for direction. She arrives with a plan:
“This is what I’ve already put together. If you don’t like that option, here are two others. Let me know if any of these resonate. If not, I can pivot.”
She is also clear about what she knows, what she doesn’t know, and where she needs the executive’s input.
To Kelly, asking an overwhelmed person, “What can I do to help?” isn’t always as helpful as it sounds. It places the responsibility back on that person to figure out what they need and assign it to you.
What feels more supportive is arriving with specific actions you’re prepared to take or something useful you have already done. That makes the person feel taken care of and gives them the confidence to accept your help.
If Kelly doesn’t have a strong solution yet, she turns to her EA community. Someone else may identify a risk she missed, challenge one of her ideas, or offer an entirely different approach.
The trust doesn’t come from solving one problem perfectly. It comes from consistently showing that you understand what your executive needs, think ahead, and arrive ready to execute.
1 Tech Tip
Chrome has a split-screen mode??
Last week, I was dragging a Chrome tab around when I accidentally activated a feature I didn't even know existed: Split View.
It lets you view two websites side by side in the same browser window, so you can reference information, compare documents, or copy things between tabs without constantly switching back and forth.
Here's how to use it:
Right-click: Right-click a tab and select "Add tab to new split view."
Drag and drop: Drag a tab to the left or right edge of your Chrome window. When "Create split view" appears, release it.

You can even drag the divider between the two pages to resize them.
To return to normal, click the Split View icon to the left of your address bar and select "Separate split view."
For a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here (doing my best to update once a month).
Thank you for reading!
Thank you for all the suggestions for my New Orleans trip last week!
I didn't get a chance to check out all of your recs but I had a great time throughout the French Quarter and Frenchmen, and swung by the WWII museum too.
Will have to be back for a dedicated trip next time~

Catch you next Thursday~
