Of course there’s a balance between this and a “Sanitation Engineer’s” responsibilities with managing the strategic distribution of liquid-based surfactant solutions to optimize surface friction and eliminate biological hazards. 🧹

It’s almost as if EAs actually run the company (callback to our Vimcal EA slogan [see bottom of the newsletter]). 😉

1 Tech Tip

Ask questions about a YouTube video instead of watching the whole thing

On some YouTube videos, there’s an Ask button that lets you ask questions about the video right inside YouTube.

You can use it to do things like:

  • summarize the video

  • find a specific moment’s timestamp

  • pull out the main takeaways

So instead of scrubbing through a 40-minute video trying to find one answer, you can just ask for it.

Backup tip

If you don’t see the Ask button, you can do something similar with ChatGPT or Claude:

  1. Click "...more" in the description below the YouTube video

  2. Scroll down and click "Show transcript"

  3. Select and copy the transcript text. You can hide the timestamps using the three-dot menu in the transcript panel

  4. Paste it into ChatGPT or Claude and ask whatever you'd like about the video

Now you can find what you're looking for in a 40-minute video without scrubbing through the entire thing.

For a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here (doing my best to update once a month).

Thank you for reading!

Catch you next Thursday~
