1 Tech Tip
Stop accidentally triggering Zoom thumbs-up bubbles on Mac
If you’ve ever been on a Zoom call and randomly had thumbs-up bubbles appear, this is actually a Mac setting, not a Zoom setting.
To turn it off:
While you’re on a video call, click the Video icon in the menu bar at the top of your Mac
Click the Reactions icon

That’s it! It should now be turned off for whatever video call application you’re using.
Bonus: on the other hand, if you actually want to use them, these are some fun ones:
👍 = thumbs up
✌️ = balloons
✌️✌️ = confetti
👍👍 = fireworks
🤘🤘 = lasers
You can also click the arrow next to Reactions in that same menu to see and trigger the different effects manually.

For a refresher on past Tech Tips without digging through your emails, they’re all available in a single post right here (doing my best to update once a month).
Thank you for reading!
Thank you to the EA managers who wrote back last week!
If you manage EAs and you haven’t had a chance to respond, I’d still love to hear what you wish you had better visibility into across your team of EAs?
If you could build the perfect dashboard to understand where your team is doing well and where they need support, what would you want it to show?
Catch you next Thursday~
